WebJun 11, 2012 · I used to love using Unibond Unifiller, a PVA based powder filler, that would fill up to 40mm deep chases without slumping, dry rock hard in 30 minutes and produced a superb smooth finish. Alas, when Henkel acquired the Unibond brand they stopped making this wonderful filler. I'm still eking out the limit stock I have, whilst I find an alternative. WebJan 11, 2024 · This stuff is good. It is so convenient and so fast for filling in wall chases and the areas around knockout boxes. I’ve even used it a couple of times to prepare bad walls (plaster & lath) prior to starting work. Once dry it’s more than good enough to drill and plug. There’s no need to build up layers of filler, it does it in one hit.

The filler would be fine for finishing it off ready for decorating.
