WebFeb 4, 2016 · DOD did their first reissue of the 250 in the Nineties: I may be in the minority, but I actually like these a lot as I only use them as a boost. When used that way, they are a bit darker sounding than the current reissue and also have a little less noise. Nice for fattening up bridge pickups on Fenders and the like.
