WebCrystal growth is the subsequent growth of the nuclei. Nucleation and growth continue to occur simultaneously while the super-saturation exists. Super-saturation is the driving force of crystallisation. This can be achieved by different methods, as cooling, anti-solvent addition, evaporation, pH adjustment and chemical reaction. Webcrystallization doesn’t occur during the cooling, use one of the methods described above to induce crystallization. Once crystallization is complete, cool the solution in an ice bath for approximately 15 min. Finally, the crystals can be collected by vacuum filtration using a Hirsch funnel filtration assembly (figure 4).
